The American Family was established during the year 1979 and its name has been changed as the International Cultic Studies Association(ICSA) during the year 2004. It consists of a group of teachers, professionals, families who involve in teaching others. The American Family began with three employees and 346 charter member policyholders. Today, this company offer multiple insurance and financial product lines in 18 states.

The main criteria behind creating American Family Foundation is to advance the theories and therapies alongside research work. And it providing with professional education that binds the family together also to expand and it share the knowledge, that is why today it stud the nations third largest mutual property and casualty insurer. It is 16th largest property and casualty insurance company group.

I filled a claim last summer and still have yet to get a reponse to if They will cover it or not, I was told it would be covered by my agent, and the claims lady said no, so I was told to send pictures and I still can not get a person or agent to call me..

American Family is great insurance until.... you have a claim. I am going on the second roof where I had to pay for it myself. This one is 8 years old and they said they saw hail damage but, it was old age damage, and thus not covered. I can not believe what crooks they are! They will promise you the moon and deliver pond scum if you us them you get what you deserve..

Been with Am Fam for 20 years and now switching. Frequently raising prices without logical explanations. Example: They cite individual credit rating as one factor to influence policy price. I have a good credit rating on my auto coverage and a bad credit rating on your home. Rating is not influenced by claims but as they state your credit score which in my case it is 770. Also, local agent does not return calls and seldom captures accurate information on policies..

I have just filed a claim with American Family on my tractor and a couple other things stolen from my barn. The adjuster finally showed up after 5 days and the first thing he wanted to assure me of is that I dont have enough coverage and he started telling me what they wouldn't cover because of him considering my stuff farm equipment even though I dont farm. He says unless specifically endorsed I have no coverage because its not considered personal property. They consider my stuff farm equipment. I pay a premium on 230000.00 of home insurance and 172000.00 in personal property just to fing out Im not covered. It seems they find a loop hole to not pay..

WE HAVE BEEN WITH AMERICAN FAMILY INSURANCE FOR OVER 10 YRS. REPLACED OUR WATER HEATER AND GARBAGE DISPOSAL NO PROBLEM,THAT WAS 5 YRS AGO. 4 MONTHS AGO OUR SEPTIC HAD PROBLEMS AND WE CALLED AND THEY SAID 'NO PROBLEM.CALL FOR SERVICE. WELL THE PROBLEMS STARTED WHEN IT CAME TIME FOR US TO COLLECT.THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE WAS JUST DOWN RIGHT RUDE!, MADE US FEEL LIKE WE WERE STEALING FROM THEM.IT TOOK MY WIFE NUMEROUS PHONE CALLS AND PLAYING TAG WITH DIFFERENT REPS,UNTILL THEY FINALLY DECIDED TO CUT US A CHECK FOR $125.68, 3 MONTHS LATER.ITS NOT MUCH $ BUT IT WAS A MATTER OF PRINCIPLE.I AM SADDEN THAT THERE CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS GONE DOWN THE TOILET AND STRAIGHT TO MY SEPTIC TANK..

I have had all my insurance through American Family for 4 yrs, My local agent is great, I love them, but they are only an agent. The corp. raised our rates for no reason, no tickets perfect driving record. They ripped me off, I will never go back again. I was also randomely selected for aa premium increase, how is that even legal? BEWARE!!1 I have never filed a claim for auto or homeowners, yet they raise my rates, there must be some polatician in the corp headquarters, who needs his head examined..
